New Synchronisation

eDock >Products

With this function you can link a new file .csv. There are two main aims for the importation of the files:

  • Import the products
  • Keep updated price and quantity of the products according to the variations detected in the file.

This type of synchronisation is useful for those who sell in Dropship mode (without having a one’s own stock or warehouse and referring to the stock of a supplier), or for those who want to keep updated their data in their own ecommerce website with eDock (and with marketplaces).

  • The price on the list includes the VAT
  • The price that you obtain by applying the charge includes the commissions for the marketplaces.

eDock allows you to assign different charges for different lists. For this reason, you have the possibility to sell with different price for each market.

Finally you can add these options:

  • Add to the reserve price the delivery price settled by the purchaser. Available only if the price information is in the file.
  • Add the brand of the product at the beginning of the name. This function can be useful to index the listings on eBay since you will be using the name of the product as the title of the listing.
  • Apply the fixed charge before the percentage charge. Usually it is used the opposite count.
  • Add the code of the product at the end of the name. This function can be useful for the eBay index.
  • Filter according to the qualities, this part needs an in-depth section:
    • Remove the reference quantity: it means that the products will be imported in eDock quantified as the difference between the quantity on the CSV file and the specifics. This decision allow you to overwrite the quantity present on the CSV, reducing fixed threshold values. This parameter has an influence on every product present in the CSV.
    • Ignore the products with lower quantity than the reference quantity: this means that the products will be imported on eDock only if the quantity available is higher than the reference quantity. In a nutshell, this decision allows you to include in your selling every product under a given threshold value. On the other hand you can keep available the products that, on the contrary, are higher than this value. This parameter has an influence only on the products with a lower quantity that the threshold value
